From Oregon to Wallstreet?

Hello WSO community!

I am a sophomore at Oregon State University who until just recently was pursing a career in pharmacy (parent's request). After speaking with some alumni in my fraternity (lambda chi alpha) towards the end of my freshmen year, they convinced to pursue finance, something that interested me 1000x times more then my current coursework. Since then I've become a finance major and have been reading up on the world of IB. Coming from a nobody non-target, getting anywhere will be an uphill battle but hopefully you guys at WSO can help give me a fighting chance!
