Graduated SEC school, studying CPA. masters in finance ?

So I'll make this short.

I graduated may of this year from an SEC school with a 3.79 gpa and an undergraduate degree in accounting.

Basically I don't really want to do accounting. I was looking into some grad programs and noticed the MSF offered through some different universities - UT Austin specifically.

From what I understand the program at UT Austin is great, and I have roots in Texas so I certainly would love to move back.

Would this be a good move? I don't have much relevant work experience And I have no idea what kind of score I might get on the GMAT (GRE?)

I really would like to work in energy or big oil and from what I heat McCombs is heavily targeted by many of these employers.

How competitive is this program and would it be worth it to persue an MSF with an undergrad in accounting and (hopefully) a CPA?
