Greetings from Paris

Hi everyone,

My name's Antoine and I'm a 4th year Finance student at Université Paris-Dauphine. Some of you may know my university as it is a Tier-1 school in France.

I currently hold a Bsc in Management and Economics from the same university and I am about to complete my first year of Msc in Finance. Our MSc is a two year programme where we specialize in either Corporate or Market Finance during the second year.

I intend to work in Asset Management (equities small/micro caps, bottom up style) or PE.

I interned at Carmignac Gestion last summer (Elite French boutique in AM) and I am about to start an off-cycle in equity AM at Lazard's asset management subsidiary in France : Lazard Frères Gestion.

I signed up to WSO as I'm looking for advice on what I should do to break into AM in North-America. I was thinking about completing a MBA degree in a tier 1 or 2 Business School in the US, probably after a few years of work experience in France.

I'd like to have your advice on that project and on what I should do to undertake it efficiently.

Any other comment will be highly appreciated.

Thank you very much.
