Hello - My intro

I'm a 28 yr old software developer thinking to move to the finance sector. I've been reading financial books for the past 5 or so years and have gotten more and more interested. To date I've devoured over 100 books on the subject and have read everything from the Market Wizards series, to Michael Lewis, to Buffett's Shareholder letters, etc. It's safe to say I'm hooked.

Anyway, I'm here to find people working in finance and hopefully learn as much as I can from them about the finance sector, what jobs are the most promising, etc.

I'm not tied to anything at the moment and would like to explore everything from being a quant to working at a trading desk.

I have a million questions I want to ask, so if you don't mind talking about your job and your experience please drop me a line.
