hello-new member
I'm a normal/average investor playing with a personal account.
I'm in the following positions:
EWP, XLV, XLU, KRFT
My portfolio is currently up a little over 6% YTD(who isn't up these days).
I have a top down approach, and I believe Europe and the United States are significantly delevered with significant structural upside.
I'm currently reading Joel Greenblatt's and Ray Dalio's books/newsletters/materials.
I want to learn more about special situations(restructuring, mergers, spinoffs). I want to be able to create value from reading footnotes while maintaining a larger industry/market scope.
Welcome CatchingCents! I'm also interested in similar investment techniques regarding special situations; any input on good resources to read from others would be much appreciated.
