Hi everyone

Hi everyone!

My name is Nicolas, and I am trying to break into investment banking. I am still in my first year at university and am aware that it is really hard to find an internship at this stage.

During my fourth semester, I have the chance to do a six months internship as part of my bachelor's program. As it will probably still be difficult to find something, I am trying really hard to find an IB internship, even if something closely related will greatly help me find an internship in IB later on. Recommendations on the best closely related internship would be great!

Kindest regards

Seconded, search funds are a solid stepping stone to better internships, just have to be proactive and show the searcher you want to learn so you can do more work outside of just sourcing for them.

Hi tanks for sharing ideas. The goal here would be an internship accessible with the knowledge you get after 3 semesters and that's closely related to IB or useful at least.

lol this is so true my friend Candice did the same thing to get into IB

“There’s an apocryphal story about Mozart. A 14-year-old came to him and said, “I want to learn to be a great composer.” And Mozart said, “You’re too young.” The young man replied, “But I’m 14 years old and you were only 8 or 9 when you started composing.” To which Mozart replied, “Yes, but I wasn’t running around asking other people how to do it.”
