Hi everyone. I feel lucky to say the least to have run into this awesome community. Being a business student and most recently accepted at NorthWestern Mutuals internship program here in beautiful Hawaii, things seem to finally be taking shape concerning my career. My main goal here is to hopefully gain amazing insight and avoid any pitfalls that would keep me from my ultimate dream of becoming a wealth (portfolio) manager. All knowledge is welcome and I look forward to growing & sharing stories with everyone as my career progresses.

Is there any real money based in Hawaii?
I know wealthy Japanese and mainland Americans own seasonal real estate there, but people don't give their money to an advisor where they vacation.
