High school hedge fund manager here!

I've been snooping around WSO for quite the while now but I only recently decided to make an account. Im a high school senior and founded "Goldstein Capital" a hedge fund club of sorts in my school. I hope to one day make it in the finance industry and hopefully I can look back at this post in a few years and comment on my successes!

Haha good luck dude! I wish I had even the slightest idea about the finance industry when I was in high school.

I have a tender spot in my heart for cripples, bastards, and broken things

Kudos. Most important thing is that hopefully you enjoy it, continue to enjoy it, and learn a lot (making money would be a huge bonus and awesome).

Rooting for ya, kid

Good Luck

I used to do Asia-Pacific PE (kind of like FoF). Now I do something else but happy to try and answer questions on that stuff.

If you have any money at all, give it to you parents and tell them to put it into an account and use said account with their name and yours. They will be your custodian or something and have say over the account but if you can login and do the password you can trade (I made and lost money like that during the dot com area.). Nothing like punting Infoseek (anyone remember that), buying for like 30, selling at 85... and then putting the rest and profits into like Pfizer, Autobytel, and some other junk that went under...

Good Luck
