I am a new user.

I keep coming across this site, so I figured I'd sign up and hang out. After a couple of disastrous years of not doing anything productive, I got my shit together (thanks over-the-top expensive therapy!) and I moved back in with parents to go back to school. If all goes well I should have a career by the time I'm 30. A bit late, I will admit, but honestly I thought I'd have been dead by now, so the whole getting straight A's and taking important tests while not on LSD is kind of new to me.

I'm studying accounting, but I'm interested in giving math and finance a try, we'll see what I can get done. Always did love the social sciences, but there's not a lot of jobs for linguistics or sociology majors. Economics is cool, though. But yeah, probably start off with accounting and see where things can go from there.

Looking to learn more about career paths, options, the industry, my options and whatever.

Anyway, hi.
