Intro - Undergrad studying engineering

Hey guys,

I'm an undergrad studying engineering that just accepted an offer for a finance internship. Basically I'm joining so I can learn more about the field and about all the opportunities out there, because most of my comrades at school know more about fluid mechanics than they do about money. I realized at some point last semester that there were careers outside of engineering that required math skills and that most engineering jobs didn't interest me.

I'd be interested in advice from anyone else who made a similar transition of fields, though from the people I've talked to the transition wasn't too difficult. It's also up in the air about whether I'll stick with finance or go back into engineering after graduating.
