I spent 2 years at a Big4 and auditing provides absolutely zero intellectual stimulation. There is virtually no analytical work involved; 90% of your time is matching numbers between documents, plus I'd say over 50% of the people there are not very intelligent.. Banking hours suck, but from a few friends that have made the switch from audit to banking, banking is way more challenging and interesting, and you can actually come away with some marketable skills (modeling, financial analysis, etc).
