Introduction

Hello, my Name is Samuel I'm a new member on WSO. The reason I signed up is to research an industry I want to enter (IB).

I am a college student who is on an indefinite break due to factors outside of my control. I was originally a pre-major in economics at my local community college. I had to withdrawal due to external factors but once life gets a little easier, I will re-enroll, get my AA, and hopefully transfer.

My main questions are about schools and entering the IB industry. I went to a community college in Illinois that has transfer agreement with U of I-Urbana/Champaign, Saint Louis University, and Missouri S&T. All have economics programs and are close to home. I'm going to try my damn best to get a 3.5 GPA or above to make myself competitive. If so, I wouldn't mind moving out-of-region to attend a college with better career prospects.

All I want is insight so my college career is an investment.
