Introduction - Law Student

Hi everyone,

Never really been a lurker here but have read a couple of forum posts here and there. As a law student who wants to go into consulting, I thought I might sign up and start reading up more.

Background:
Computer Science B.S. from a top 20 engineering school. Had a couple internships involving software development and engineering design. Went straight into law school after UG - I got a pretty poor GPA (sub-3.0) throughout college but still got into a decent law school. Found out a little too late that I'd rather do consulting work (SO is in consulting). Big Law isn't a bad fallback option but, personally, from what I hear and learned about consulting, I'd really like to be in consulting. I am now in my second year at a top 14 school with a decent consulting presence. I have a Big Law summer associate position lined up for next summer (2015). Also, currently taking courses at our school's business school related to consulting. I'll be riding the 2015 summer hiring cycle and I'll be prepping case interviews until then.
