Interview well, everything else people do to get in. Not sure why your race/gender matter, unless there is a niche you can find. You should have a leg up b/c firms are always looking to diversify. May get you in the door or open up interviews, but if you don't produce you're out.

Full disclosure I don't work on Wall Street (not in NYC); but I suspect most Wall Street & industry guys would agree.
