Long time lurker, finally signed up

Hello,

Been lurking around for the last 6-8 months through a bugmenot account. An a*hole changed the password forcing me to sign up :)

In my early 30's, moving from a BRICS country to the UK for my MBA with the final goal being clawing my way into a PE fund. Have been in finance throughout my career, however, unfortunately not in any recognized companies. In my younger, more idiotic days, I turned down a job as an IB analyst at a BB, deciding instead to join a smaller company (100 employees) where I had greater responsibilities. After reading about the typical IB->PE career step on WSO off late, have been crying myself to sleep every night.
