Looking for something new

I know you may find it odd but i was doing online search and i found my self here. I received an offer from an appraisal company b/c i have previous experience in real estate. I become interested of appraiser job more than legal field, i want to know how can i become officially an appraiser? Where can i get the license? Is it worth it to go ahead in this path. Any one can give me a real advice? I just finished law school. Im in Michigan right now.
