Loving this Forum

What's up everyone.
I'm currently a freshman at a non-target/semi-target (top15 undergrad b school) and I'm majoring in finance.I'm international but I graduated a boarding school, so I've been in the US for quite some time.
I heard about WSO from seniors with jobs at GS, JPM, CS etc. and they said they learned a lot from this website and especially reading the forum, and so they advised me to do the same. I have been browsing through it lately and I see what they meant. I've picked up a lot of stuff and am loving how responsive the community is. This summer I will be interning with a Mutual Fund back home, pretty much shadowing the manager and hopefully doing some ER, market analysis or whatever gets thrown my way. Most likely getting Starbucks. I also bought the books for the CFA (unfortunately can't take it till senior year), because I have nothing else to do after my internship is over. Current GPA is 3.75 but I've been advised to pick it up to at least 3.8 if I want a shot. As far as investing, I do have skin in the game and participate in a very exclusive group on campus that does dual hedge fund strategies, both Merg Arb and Market Neutral and it has helped me learn a lot. I have started networking and working towards a finance internship my sophomore summer in the US. Still undecided if I want to do ER, AM or IBD, but hopefully with the help of you guys I can decide by the time Junior year and important internships come around. I doubt I can help you with anything, but feel free to ask questions and I'm looking forward to spending more time here.
