Master in CS trying to make it in Algotrading

Hi,

My name is Thomas, 27 and I graduated from some university in computer sciences in east Europe and have been working 3 years as a Python developer in some start-up. As I would like to switch to finance and I am now doing a part time MA in quantitative asset management while working as "quant credit risk analyst" since a few weeks for a major retail bank in eastern Europe. Doing both puts me under a high workload. Do you think I can make it after the finance master to some algotrading HF/IB even if my master degrees are not from target universities and I now work in credit risk. I plan to point by writing my master thesis about algorithmic trading/asset management.

I'm very thankful for any input Thomas/doge75
