Hey WSO Community! I've actually known about WSO for a while, but I finally decided that I would become part of the community! I am currently enrolled in a Master of Science in Finance at Washington University in St. Louis. I just started the program back in May, and will be graduating this coming May (2016). My undergraduate education was in Biology with a concentration in Pre-Medicine, and I worked at Merck for a year as a Biologist upon graduation. Then, after being accepted to Wash U, I left Merck to pursue my Master's in Finance. I can't express how much I am loving my classes, and how happy I am with Wash U. I wish to work in private equity within the biotech or biopharamceutical fields, but I think some experience in investment banking is necessary for this to happen. Thoughts?
