Yes, but everything I have read on here pretty much says "You need to have a top tier MBA to get your foot in the door". With that said I'm interested to know if I need to go back to school to get better resume branding and/or to undo the sins of the past, or does my work experience/performance make up for it...

 

I agree with Dick. When you have relatively no experience, top BSchools and grades matter. When you've been around like you have, they matter much less.

That's because the average person posting on WSO is 20 years old. By now, you should be getting most of your opportunities through a well developed network. You will have former colleagues or one extra degree of separation at most firms greater than a few hundred people in size in your industry. The kids here are trying to break in and generally have little experience or good contacts.
