New, Hopeful, and (Necessarily) Humble
Hello all,
I've been lurking for several week now and figured now would be the time to join. I am a sophomore at a non-target with a pretty okay undergrad business program. I am just now getting to turn around the ol' GPA as I am starting to see the importance of doing so in order to even get a foot in the door to hopefully/maybe an IB analyst role. Let's just say if there is a GPA cut-off, I do not meet it (yet).
I have had a long standing interest in finance, or rather how capital is the driving force behind the revolution of the Earth, and am eager to pursue anything within this realm. I feel IB would be a solid start and would allow me develop rigid work ethic as well as allow me to figure out what I really want to do. Thus far I've had a couple internships in property management but nothing too relevant as of yet. I'm looking to learn from you guys and figure out how to, for lack of better terms, do the best I can with what I've got.
I look forward to my time here.
