New Monkey, Looking to Get into IBD and Ultimately PE

I'm a current sophomore Econ and Gov double major at a semi target school (think, Duke/Northwestern) with a decent GPA (3.6-3.7), and I'm looking to go into IBD at a BB in two years when I graduate. Ideally, I'd want to work in either M&A or S&T (energy or commodities) right out of college and then transition to the buy side. I know that these intros are super cliche but I'm just looking for enough bananas to message people.
