Old geezer checking in...

Hello all, being in my mid-30's feeling like an old geezer on this forum. So far I've been reading/searching a lot rather than posting questions that have been asked before.

Currently I'm in technology at one of the big 3 wirehouses; I'm looking for a career change, possibly in PWM. Recent posts by @brofessor on this very career path have been very helpful.

Hoping to learn from everyone before making making my next career move.

thanks for the kudos! if you're at one of the big 3, I'd leverage the corporate directory, you have access to direct lines, emails, and sometimes cell phones for everyone in the company. this is easiest if you want to break into Capital Markets, AM or ER, as all of those individuals will have research reports (ER & capital markets) or articles (AM) with their names.

if it were me, I'd say something like "I follow XYZ, and I saw you put out a note on it, I'm interested in blahblahblah....." you get the idea.
