I'm a Marine veteran currently attending my last year at a non-target school. So far I have one year at a custodial bank in their pricing department but am looking to move into more front office activity, be it trading, WM, hedge funds or other. Just discovered this resource and I love the concept, as I could use all the help I can get to try and break in to the industry. I'm open to, and would appreciate any advice. Considering taking the GMAT or a series 63 or 7. Looking to gather up a list of target companies to apply to this Fall and can use all the help I can get.

I'm military (Navy) transitioning out as well and learning about the finance industry. A contact referred me to this site, and you're right, it's a great resource! As to your question, a little more clarity will help. A number of BB banks have active veterans initiatives, and depending on what division you want to go to, a post-grad degree may not even be necessary. Hell, I think it was even JPM's program that stipulates that you have to be at least an E-5, unless you're a Marine, then you qualify for their program if you were an E-4.
