I'm studying abroad in London for a full year, and while it has its downfalls like you said it is still one of the best decisions of my life and I know I will remember it in the future.

Look into studying abroad this summer. It'll be shorter, but there's no lost recruitment opportunities.
Not the Nittany Lion Fund. I would love to have that option, but my university only offers abroad programs for business majors for the full semsester.
Definitely study abroad. Once you start FT it will be much harder to come by 6-months of time to travel around europe (and by travel I mean party and chase euro sloots). Just work your interview schedule around it
