UWS
I'm thinking of living on UWS as a recent college grad working in FiDi. Would this be too quiet/boring//inconvenient of a neighborhood?

Depends on what you mean by UWS as it can be anywhere from Columbus Circle to Columbia depending on who talk to. The UWS though in general is getting a bit 'trendier' with more things to do so you shouldn't be too bored and the subway ride will be straight down on the red line (Most likely)
The Upper West Side has Central Park AND Riverside Park, the Museum of Natural History, Lincoln Center, Columbus Circle, Symphony Space, Columbia and tons of great restaurants and bars - that does not fit my description of boring. As for Downtown, I would not live in the Financial District if I were you (that can certainly get boring after work) as there's so much more to Lower Manhattan than that. Battery Park (nice but, ya, kinda boring) and Tribeca would be much better choices.
It's alright that you replied to me haha
I never think of including stuff like that to someone that starts off by saying they are a recent college grad. I'm in the mindset that they mean bars, girls, bars, girls, girls, hookers, bars, when they are asking about it haha
