Sometimes I buy a ticket. As mentioned above, the utility you gain from buying a ticket is the fun of dreaming what you would do if you win. This dream doesn’t change if you buy 1 ticket or buy 10 tickets. For $2.00, it is actually a decent payback. Just buy the ticket a day in advance so you get more enjoyment out of it!
