Hey guys,
The Canadian election was held this past Monday. One of the people who got elected was Pierre-Luc Dusseault. He is the youngest member of parliament in Canadian history at 19.
I was wondering what your guys' opinion on this is. I personally think he is way to young. However I think its a sweet gig to have. The starting salary is 157 731 plus benefits.

Too young - he could be very passionate about his role, but someone who hasn't even finished university/college or had sufficient work experience is far too green. Though good on him for winning, I guess.
I can't help but think that a lot of these voters in Quebec got so caught up with the NDP bandwagon that they don't even know who they're voting for...

This is the very definition of being at the right place, at the right time. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the students or non-political background NDP candidates that ran did it as a lark.
