230,000 high finance jobs could disappear by 2025

Hi guys,

http://news.efinancialcareers.com/uk-en/277602/ho…

What do you think about articles like this one? It doesn´t really seem legit to me, more like a huge exaggeration.

However, I am pretty surprised that Asset Management is by far the most affected industry with 90,000 potentially job loses (twice as much as S&T). Wouldn´t it make more sense that automatization has a bigger impact on places like S&T than AM or what point am I missing?

It´s kinda obvious that this is not relevant for IBD roles, since they are very hard to automate, but what is your personal opinion on AM, PWM, S&T, ...?

It would be great to hear from experienced people who actually work in those industries instead of some journalists who are looking for a dramatic headline. Thanks for your input.

Yeah probably, but it will also backfire big time one day.

Don´t say this in a banking interview: Which superhero would you be and why? I want to be like Robin Hood, stealing from the rich and giving to the poor - me.
