27,394 Days or ?

This is a follow up on Ed Braverman's post counting days instead of years. I found this interesting because I've always counted down my remaining existence using days instead of the conventional years. So here's someting to ponder my fellow primates:
It is said that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west right? Well, not exactly.

Technically, the sun doesn't go anywhere, it neither rises nor falls, with the exception of its rotating on it's own axis of course. For those of us in the know, it is the earth that is actually doing two things to cause this illusion: 1) rotating on its tilted axis and 2) orbiting around the sun.

With this proven fact in mind, I - as do many sages, mystics and enlightened ones - have always maintained that to count the days using this method is illusionary because there really ain' t no separating time, whether using day or night for that matter. It is all one seamless continuum.

Hence the proverbial saying: "live for the moment cause it's all we got"

And that my fellow primates, is exactly how I spend my time.
