I think someone stole my package in the mailroom. UPS said it was delivered and I complained to Louis Vuitton that I didn't get it and they said I have to file a police report for them to send me a new package. What a motherfucking pain. Would you just forget about it or order another one or actually call the police?

haha - There is a backstory to this. My friend who is a pro poker player was playing against Mike Mizrachi and sitting next to him. The Grinder (Mike) (WSOP Main Winner) was wearing this cologne and my friend couldn't help to smell it. He said bro - no homo - but what kind of cologne is that it is the best I've ever smelled. It was LV Imagination. We talked about this on my friend's poker stream and both vowed to buy it. So I ordered it online.
So... short version, you and your buddy want to smell good to other men...

As someone who did my undergrad at a top school and an M7 MBA, I would do the police report.
If you’re filing a police report over $380 cologne then you probably have no business ordering $380 cologne
File the report. Principally wrong that someone stole it. In addition, even though the report won't likely do anything, if theft reports are consistently generated from one particular location such as your building, you'd think at some point they might just have to do something (perhaps wishful thinking here).
I am sick and tired of the theft. I've had it happen a number of times over the past year where I've purchased a high value electronic(s) and the box arrived with either the entire contents missing or a unit or two missing. In fact a few months ago I bought a MacBook Air and the box arrived empty (presumably someone in the logistics chain stole it, it had been resealed?). Never happened to me in over a decade of living in the suburbs. Seems to be a routine occurrence in NYC!
Anyway, definitely file the report and have LV send you another one. It's a matter of principle, not that it's just a $378 cologne imo.
Yeah good points. I hate calling the police for anything, but it is about the principle. LV probably sent some fancy packaging and it was eye candy to some shady person who lives in my building. Fucking thieves man. It's BS and also such bad karma for them. When you bring evil into your life it sucks you down. They probably kick their dog and their gf cheats on them.
