Cmon man, while the dude did not elaborate, banning guns is not a batshit crazy idea. The United States is an outlier regarding fire arms. I think in the vast majority of developed countries, it is much more difficult to get a gun.

1 person dead. As tragic as this is, it is unfortunately fairly common in the inner city. The fact national news is covering this indicates a narrative that is trying to be formed.

Tbh, I do not find anything funny about it at all. It is a very serious issue and one party wants to do absolutely nothing about it. I do not agree with dems on all issues but this is one in which I do agree with them. It bat shit crazy that we as a nation can't get together and do something about it.
This is incorrect. Yes, there are murders where there are higher population areas. Targeted murders are not uncommon. A lot of times it’s a domestic violence issue, sometimes gang related (although most gangs kill off their own members than opposing members- usually over money or drug disputes).
But having someone shoot people at random is not normal nor common. Yes, one person died as opposed to 19. But where do you draw the line of “acceptable” or not? Also, you could be wounded and life changed forever. Not to mention PTSD from everyone there. One death isn’t the only casualty here.
