Ace Greenberg Calls Sandy Weill "Borat"
It's clear that Ace Greenberg is as mystified as everyone else by his old pal Sandy Weill's turnaround on the whole Too Big To Fail thing. In this interview with Bloomberg, Greenberg claims it wasn't Weill at all who said the banks should be broken up, but Sacha Baron Cohen doing a Sandy Weill impression. Pretty funny:
LOL. Blame Borat.
God I hope it's true. Sacha Cohen doing a wall street movie would be hilarious. Also, I don't see that many bankers being dumb enough to fall for his faux interviews. I am sure the end interview flip-outs will be epic.
Thats funny.
Actually, I read just yesterday that Sacha Baron Cohen's next movie is going to be a spy spoof where he plays James Bond's loser brother. Sounds like it's got serious comic potential.
I'd say break up all the big banks because labor inefficiency keeps more people employed.
