If you can make a reasonable plan as to how you will finish online with the required coursework (also- time! What about the time to do it!) go for it. But I strongly caution you to make sure that it's possible. Can you bust ass for one semester and do 2 semesters of work. I did 20 credits one semester- 4.0 while working. Maybe you can do something like that too instead of just expecting to do it all on your own while starting a new job?

Like the unadjusted- only with a little bit extra.

Are you at a prestigious university? Could you break into the industry without your MD family member? If so, I'd finish up school and then work with him after (or another shop). If you go to a crappy school with no tangible way of breaking in, take the online classes. Though, online classes are still demanding and you'd probably graduate with a lower GPA. Weigh your opportunity costs
