Advice opening joint business account with someone abroad
Hey all,
I'm in the U.S. and have an LLC here which is a part of another company in Japan. I'm trying to find a bank that would let me open a business account with someone who is a Japanese in Japan. They aren't able to come to America to open an account.
Some banks told me he would have to be here with me to open it, or that he has to have a Social Security Number. I haven't found one that would let me open a joint account with someone who is not American.
I also thought about just opening one and sharing the log in with him, but the joint account is preferred.
I'd appreciate the help!
