Am I fucked?
Got a calendar invite with no warning from compliance. Attendees include my MD, Head and Deputy Heads of Compliance. Meeting is in two weeks time, still have access to all company drives.
I don’t even remember doing anything wrong?

They wouldn’t wait 2 weeks to address you if you were truly fked. Maybe ask?
I had a similar invite to a meeting months ago with tons of big shots for the next day. I email the assistant to ask if there is an agenda so I can be adequately prepared.
Turns out the admin mistakenly invited me instead of someone else. Bailed her out without embarrassing her by attending a meeting I didn’t belong in.
This. Just ask manager what to expect as it - as he/she could understand - is giving you extreme anxiety.
I think you're fine. If they want to can you, they would fire you immediately and not let you have access to anything.
To everyone above, I asked my MD he has no idea and the compliance people haven’t responded after a day so I assume they are choosing not to
How long have you been at your job?
Less than six months? They could 100% fire me immediately if they wanted to
This would be my guess if you know you haven't done anything. Makes for anxiety, I can vouch for that. But obviously until you know for sure it's gonna be in the back of your head. Just watching them go into a conference room with your team leads and dreading thinking they're talking about you. But again, if you know you're square, they're probably after someone else and want your cooperation/help. And two weeks lead means they've been working on something (someone) since like everyone else said, if they wanted to pink slip you it would've happened already.
Edit: Other side of the coin, if those are the atendees, could be a discovery meeting to further define their rules and regs. Means you've been kicking ass if you're asked to be there for that kind of meeting.
Seconding the idea about it being an investigation into someone else. If MD does not have any idea, then almost certainly an issue with a former (or current) employee that worked under them and potentially with you.
Compliance may be mum so as to avoid any heads up or notice being given to the employee in question. If that guess is right, they will almost certainly warn you to stay mum on it, too, or face disciplinary action. The MD may even be aware and has to play dumb for the same reason.
So what happened!?
Curious minds want to know. Unless of course it's the WolfofWSO trademark "never happened".
The post history stops at this thread. It makes me wonder if he knew too much with compliance not only changing headcount, but changing some carpet too.
Anything?
I think (unfortunately) writing is on the wall.
I'm so bummed out about this, never been so invested in a mystery before.
