Am I objectifying women?

The other day, I was walking in a downtown area. There's a bunch of shopping areas and food places all around, so of course there's tons of women out there.

I'm walking up the strip and I saw a group of them headed right towards me. My phone was out and I was checking it, but stopped as I had to maneuver through the average obstructing shit (whether it's shit or not is not the point) typical in downtown areas. So, I noticed this group of distant, curvy women, and that they were too far to get a good look. So I finished up on my phone, but as they got closer, I knew I wasn't going to let them slip by without my eyes resting on their goods for a few seconds.

So I didn't miss the opportunity. They happened to be watching me, but I didn't care. As I got my look at the lot, they started laughing and I could overhear them laughing and whining that it's so annoying and they knew I would look.

You damn right I looked! You're showing it, and I want to see what you got. Joe Rogan talked about this on his podcast. "You should posture up to get a look when out and public and they're showing it."

What do you guys think? Do you normally get a good glimpse, or is that disrespectful to women?

I might be so bold as to say the Golden Rule is a: "One glance and done policy" ?

I had this same conversation with a couple girls in college. They agreed that glancing wasn't a huge issue. Even they admitted to glancing and smiling at attractive guys.

The issue is with guys who took it a step further by either, repeatedly glancing... staring, verbally engaging, or (for obvious reasons) physically engaging.
