Ambit Energy

I was approached by some friends to work for this energy business. The pitch is that energy has been deregulated and the small companies are trying to get customers to let them distribute the energy to them. There is a 400 fee to work for this company. It resembles a pyramid scheme in some ways but sells energy as well. Anyone heard about this company or have any incite?

it doesnt sound good. you should not be paying to work, especially if you don't have to buy any materials to do your work (there are some companies where they actually sell you something, and then you resell it. these are usually pyramid schemes too though...and im pretty sure that theyre not going to have you buy 400 watts of electricity)

that guy aboves email is eliAMBIT...maybe he just created it for this post. but id be wary. unless youre friends have already worked there and are actually profitable...(there are certain companies that people swear by even though theyre getting bent over and are just too dumb to realize it)
