Any BMI research reviews?

Any reviews on these guys? We are thinking of having them do research for us in our Mining specific fund (Mineral Fund) which focuses on investing in Mining and Energy projects. Their role will be to provide us with an outlook on the demand for commodities; coal, diamonds, gold, quarries etc as well as to produce projected commodity prices.

Having worked in consulting I know how much of the research output can be a cut and copy paste from previous clients.

Also given that they do a lot of research across different industries and across the world, I am not sure if I can trust them for Mining and for Africa. How do I know they have applied their minds in the information they provide to us?
