Typical single early 20s backpacker traveller here. Looking at ~3 weeks in Argentina. Of course do the hostel thing in BA, but also doing some trekking / beginning mountaineering in Patagonia, possibly fishing somewhere mid-country (just for shits, total noob at fishing), Iguacu Falls in the north, etc.
Would be interested to hear any past experiences and tips, as well as any outfitter recommendations for the outdoors stuff.

@"AndyLouis" is by far the best resource you will ever need. I've personally been more than five times and absolutely love the country. Didn't do the hostel / outdoorsy thing so I'm really not the best person to give you advice on your trip. I just sure hope you love meat and come hungry.
