Any Skateboarders or Longboarders out there?

I used to skate a lot as a kid, (go to skateparks, hit the local spots etc.). Now just cruise around on a longboard once in awhile as I don't want to risk the injury but miss the fun of it.

Anybody else keep it up as a hobby while working?

Yeah I do every board sport. I'm best at snowboarding.

I have a sector 9 longboard. I used to longboard around the East Village when I lived in NYC to go to the gym or get groceries etc. I've been in some pretty tight situations longboarding in NYC - makes it fun.

Eating shit is unavoidable, but I wouldn't risk it in a suit

I really only fall when I'm hammered. Skateboarding is the ultimate sobriety test - it's funny.

Avid skateboarder here. What’s funny is that I’ve gotten more into skateboarding in my banking years than I’ did in college. Guess it’s just trying to hold on to my identity while in a suit all day. I’ still love it though and go hit up the park as often as I can. Aside from being incredibly fun, it’s a great release from the corporate world cause I’m always the only banker at the park (and My working world is so foreign to everyone there). Keeps you grounded
