anybody else gotten a couple popups here?

I'm on a iPad right now, and I got a popup when I logged in

I received a popup as well...i guess it would be classified as pop-under, same annoying shit though.

No pop-ups at work or at home.

Pop-unders. Kind of a drag because it blocks your bottom bar including the clock (which is what I guess it's supposed to do because it requires your attention to fix it).

No pop-anythings here. Running Chrome w/ AdBlock on a Mac.

I got a pop up when i clicked on this post from the forum topics on the right. Never gotten a pop up other than now. It was for Trader X or something.

What browser are you using? I've noticed Firefox has the same popup on a lot of sites.

I got them on firefox but not on chrome. Trader X and a torrent download kind of thing.

Actually I did see that Trader X thing too. Forgot about that.

I got the same pop up recently a few times but closed out and didnt pay attention to what it was.

On my end, it was happening all last night but not anymore.

Got a pop up last night, and again this morning.

i got popups in the past few days... specifically, i think it was triggered when i clicked on the "followers" icon. i don't notice it happening today.

I got a Trader X pop up as well

I got a few popups.

Pop ups here too every time I log in, using an HP laptop.

Just got a popup for Trader XP when clicking on a thread from the "Forum Topics" list on the right side, using Chrome on a PC.

Got the same pop-up as before. Last time it was on a PC using Chrome from work, this time from a Mac using Chrome. I clicked on a post last time and on my messages this time.

What's the deal with these things? I don't know much about computer pop-ups and whatnot, is this advertiser related, spam related, or WSO related?

My pop-ups are all in new windows

They're in new windows, or if I'm on my iPhone then they open up in new tabs which is especially annoying.

Got popup all over the place. Even after I install Adblock Plus, it still doesn't help.

Not gonna lie, I like banner ad's better.

I like no ads better. I'll make up the ad revenue difference if you want.

I never had this happen as I got the AdBlock Plus extension (free) for Firefox and it has worked wonders for me. All the shows and movies I watch are hosted online on sites bombarded with all kinds of crazy ads and it has made a huge difference. I accidentally uninstalled it the other day and only noticed when I wanted to catch the latest episodes of The Office.

I know the intended purpose of these is to bring extra revenue so I apologize if I shouldn't have brought that up Patrick.

guys, this will be gone by tomorrow. Sorry, I did not realize they were pop-ups into new windows which is SUPER annoying.
