Anybody whiten their teeth?
Wondering if anyone has any experience with / recommendations about natural or procedural teeth whitening. I take really good care of my teeth (brushing at least twice a day, flossing twice a day, mouth wash, tongue scrape, don't drink coffee/soda etc) but I feel like my teeth don't look that great. I understand that's pretty natural, but I do wish they were whiter. I used Crest white-strips a couple years ago and got marginally noticeable results, but I recently tried again (this time with Target brand) but stopped due to gum pain.
the crest white strips are my go-to. They worked really well for me and I get a lot of compliments on my teeth being white/straight. You can do up to two sets a year is what they say. pain is prolly from overdoing it is what I've noticed in the past
I literally went last friday to whiteen my teeth my first time ever and the doctor said that whiteening your teeth isn't worth it because the effects last for about 4 or 5 months and mostly you need to follow a "white diet (no coffee, no wine, no chocolate, no sodas, etc.)".
The only time to whiteen your teeth is maybe when you have an important upcomimg event and you want to look good for photos (wedding, graduation, reunions, etc.).
At least for me, I've found charcoal toothpaste to be more effective than Crest 3-D white strips. I only use it once or twice a week - it's a more abrasive substance so definitely don't use it daily. That being sad, my teeth have become noticeably whiter. Brand I use is Cali White.
