Anyone on this forum planning to attend the Berkshire Hathaway Annual Meeting this May? I'm going with a group of friends from various investment firms. Been once before and loved it - met a lot of interesting people randomly. I've never gone to a WSO meetup or anything but interested in trying to meet more like-minded investors. I'm not an owner of Berkshire Hathaway stock, but the tickets are available on the secondary market. I think it would be great to see someone such as Warren Buffett speak, as he will retire soon. Is it taboo or weird that I would attend since I am not a shareholder, I just think it would be a great learning opportunity, and I am just a few hour drive away. Let me know what you think.
The first rule to getting in anywhere is to act like you belong. Wear a nice suit, be confident in your smile, and enjoy the thing. That is assuming that tickets aren't attached to ID that you need to present at time of entry

Yes, but Berkshire and Shareholders sell them on the secondary market, I was just wondering if it was weird to go or not if you weren't a shareholder
