Anyone ever go through an identity crisis

I got really high from an edible a couple hours ago, and started to think about how I am the way I am. When I was growing up, I was pretty nerdy, and then I started going out and making friends once I went to high school. And what I realized is that my personality isn't really unique. I never really developed a unique personality, as I basically just borrowed other peoples' until I made it how I wanted it to be, and expressions and whatnot just stuck somewhere down the line. Like I was just thinking: To what extent do people like me for this fake persona that I created? Am I really what I pretend to be, or is it all just an act and I'm trying to be something I'm not?

Don't worry about any of that.

Just be true to yourself, have fun, follow your passions, treat others as you would like to be treated and enjoy every moment of it.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

Why do you think it is bad to be who you want to be? Even if it seems to you that you're just creating yourself by playing, but you like it, what do you worry about?

Lol, no - if you live your life based on your own principles and take every decision based on ethics and duty, there is never any identity crisis.

I do tend to get into a lot of relationship issues with people who are of the "I'm following social etiquette variety" because they expect me to bend per their very strict rules of social order and ethics has no place for social order.

This guy is still high lol, why are people taking this seriously

Absolute truths don't exist... celebrated opinions do.

The Japanese have a saying that man has 3 different faces: The first face you show to the world The second face to your close friends and family The third face you never show anyone, it is the truest reflection of your self.

As long as you know your third face, and you're yourself when you're alone then you're fine.

We're all pretty adaptable and switch personalities in order to better our career, get laid, fit in. What would be fucked up and create confusion within yourself is if you started behaving like that when you're by yourself.
