It used to be quite an interesting community, but it has been reset in 2013 and seems to be aiming at a travel-only community now. Before I sign up or reach out to people, for those of you on it, is it still worth it?

So I have an invite to ASW which is about to expire and I'm not sure if the EUR80 subscription fee is really worth it. I do like the idea of being able to travel to places to meet up with people and go to events since I live in Zurich and travel Europe pretty regularly. Is ASW good for that? Or is it a pretentious club full of trust fund babies who just talk about designer fashions and tax havens? Supposedly there are many bankers on the site, but has anyone here actually gone to the events recently? I'm neither rich nor ostentatious and I tend to eschew things associated with exclusivity, so it will probably be a waste of money for me if people aren't at all down to earth or interesting. Would be good to hear from people who are actually members..
