I would only do that if the buy-in to the league was $10,000.
otherwise, spend that time focusing on other things. it's fantasy football, not a multimillion dollar portfolio.
agreed, but the amount of trash talk that goes on from the end of a season to the beginning of the next is really high
so spend your time on better comebacks rather than an algo.
I run some really basic assumptions on excel but I wouldn't call it statistical modeling. Plus ESPN has more than enough statistics on their website. Don't overthink this - go with a combination of your gut and what the "experts" say.
