Apartment move in will be at least 3 weeks delayed - has anyone negotiated comp/cover a hotel, etc due to this?

We signed a lease, brokers lied and said it would be ready x day. Once we singed building management said oh no that's not the case (brokers have been paid now when we signed) and building management said it should be ready by the start of the Lease. That day comes and goes and now it will be close to 3 weeks late when we can maybe move in (not 100% sure).

Any comp negotiated besides possible free rent because of this? It's now at a point where I am moved out of my old place and living with a friend while the unit get's ready. It is supposed to be ready in a few days but management has not been very responsive when asking for updates lol. If this get's pushed another week or two I will be furious, any other similar stories and what was the outcome? This is a large landlord in a major city.
