Are we for or against Capitalism?

More and more countries are succumbing to the incoming foreign multinational giants to come in a privatize for better quality, increase in capital flow and reliability. But by doing this we are creating and bolstering the growth of monopolies and are being more and more dependent on these big companies.

In the US it is legal for politicians to get a majority of funding from the Oil&Gas corporations to then favor these ginormous companies through easing restrictions, imports and taxations. In return the politician and allies could potentially become super rich by investing in those very companies ahead of time. All Legal! And they get away with barely any media attention.

Which makes me thing it's is these companies that are actually in power and politics is merely a medium. Is this capitalism?
