nice Adventure Time reference as your username. Personally, probably real estate investor. Everyone I know that's made it in that field is enjoying it a lot and having fun, can't always say the same for the others.

As a social climber and someone who loves power, I would take: politics > government > actor > Entrepreneur/Silicon Valley > Academia; these are all industries that have little upside for average performers. But realistically with my skillset and taking into expected value, Engineer/PE > Entrepreneur/Silicon Valley.

"We are actors, we pretend to be hard."
